SVU discovers an human sex-trafficking ring specializing in Asian-Americans after a rape victim comes forward about her involvement in the group. An undercover operation commences, and tension between SVU and Bureau Chief Hadid continue to rise due to disagreement over how to handle the victim/whistleblower.

- Shoot the Shaggy Dog: The Downer Ending comes out of nowhere and doesn't make sense. Right as Mrs. Chang is about to take her plea deal, a federal prosecutor bursts in and says the case falls under Federal jurisdiction due to the international implications of her trafficking ring. Okay...except this also somehow invalidates her previous full confession, given in police custody and presumably recorded.
