Tropes
- Bathe Her and Bring Her to Me: In her first cam session the rapist explains to Emily and her audience that he's going to bathe her.
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling:
- Emily, the younger one, is strait-laced and obedient while older sister Taylor is a rebellious party girl. Unfortunately Emily's obedience is very attractive to a kidnapper/rapist.
- In the episode's subplot, Amanda and her sister also appear to have this dynamic, with Amanda being the Responsible to her sister's Foolish. This would be further confirmed in later episodes.
- Fiendish Fraternity: A pair of underage sisters snuck into a frat party. One was kidnapped by a serial rapist posing as a member (in what's implied to be not the first time), and the other had sex with an older man — who was unaware of her age but was still committing statutory rape.
- Harmful to Minors: They meet an FBI agent whose only job is to monitor child porn. He may or may not be joking that his predecessor ate his gun at his desk.
- Love Martyr: Jane, aka Wendi, has been with Peter a long time and defends him, insisting he saved her. Only speaking to her mother and sister again and seeing how much they missed her and never stopped looking for her snaps her out of it.
