Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you see it) Gordon does not actually return to the site of his only failed rescue in the show's history, but instead chooses to announce an update from the set of another hit show of his, Hell's Kitchen. This episode includes a new interview with Amy and Samy on what changed after Amy's Baking Company was featured on Kitchen Nightmares, as well as plenty of footage and interviews that were left out in the original episode.

This episode contains examples of:

  • Aside Glance: During the revisit interview, in which Amy unleashes an insane torrent of defensive retorts, the reporter looks right into the camera for a split second, in part because she barely manages to get a single word in edgewise.
  • Blatant Lies: After their online meltdown, Amy and Samy suddenly deleted all of their angry rants and created a new Facebook page for the restaurant, claiming that their Facebook and Yelp accounts had been hacked. The hacking claim is fairly reasonable (it's not exactly unheard of), but what pushed it into this territory was that they started to get into fights in their comment section, and then added the claim that they had the FBI investigating it, which destroyed all credibility of them being hacked being anything but true.
  • Caps Lock: Most of the posts Amy sent against the people who criticized her and Samy on the restaurant's Facebook page were written in all caps, and those who didn't still had some all caps parts.
  • Creator Killer: In-Universe: As mentioned on the recap page for the first episode, Amy and Samy's meltdown was their own doing. Ramsay was uncharacteristically calm in the episode when he visited them, and left their restaurant in Tranquil Fury knowing that they cannot be helped. Amy's Baking Company closed down on September 2015, and a new restaurant attempted to take its place, which itself folded to be replaced by an Aikido school.
  • Feet of Clay: Inverted; Amy has attempted to write a cookbook and start an online series on culinary recipes after her reputation had been irreversibly shattered from her TV appearances (not just on Kitchen Nightmares, but also Dr. Phil and various news reports). She's presumably trying to bank off her own infamy: she certainly wouldn't have the credibility to pull it off otherwise.
  • Fun T-Shirt: Amy and Samy tried to sell T-shirts of their quotes from the restaurant's previous episode to "get in" on the joke.
  • Implausible Deniability: On Facebook, Samy and Amy claimed that their social media pages were hacked and they did not state all the insults to the reviewers. While this wasn't implausable at first, they then continued to insult people after they made the hacking claim.
  • It's Personal: As in the original episode, Amy and Samy take all criticism and make it personal; any negative comment is blown far out of proportion.
  • Reformed Criminal: When the reporter asks Samy about his previous claim of being a gangster, he clarifies that he does have a criminal history but he went straight a long time ago.
  • Sequel Episode: To "Amy's Baking Company".
