Hank's father, Cotton, receives an Unexpected Inheritance of $10,000, with which he decides to buy a timeshare in Mexico. Hank tags along to dissuade Cotton from buying more than he can afford, and Bill comes as Cotton's friend. Meanwhile, Peggy, Bobby and Dale attempt to sneak into local pools to beat the heat.

The sales team selects the most qualified among them to exploit the Hills and Bill's personalities, and they abandon the grift on Cotton after it's revealed he lives on a fixed income, and they won't be able to foreclose on his home down the road.
