Bobby and Hank use Ladybird to compete in a dog dancing contest. Meanwhile, Bill is tricked into buying an ill-tempered Rottweiler from an animal shelter.

- Beware of Vicious Dog: Bill's dog ends up being a very violent Rottweiler that keeps trying to attack him every time he tries to practice. Said dog ends up attacking him again at the show once Bill takes off his muzzle.
- Competition Freak: Hank delves into this when he gets into the dog dancing competition with Ladybird and becomes determined to find out Bobby's strategy.
- The Dog Bites Back: As Bill's dog is passed out from the sleeping pills, he dreams about ripping Bill to shreds.
- Embarrassing Hobby: Hank treats dog dancing as this, only to then start doing it himself with Ladybird and accept it into their lives while keeping it a secret until the day of the tournament.
- Instant Sedation: When Bill's dog corners him in his shower, Bill attempts to grab some sleeping pills from the medicine cabinet using a wire hanger and get the dog to swallow them. He is out cold within seconds.
- Second Prize: Bobby gets second in the dog dancing tournament, which he and Peggy are both proud of. Hank ultimately doesn't place, much to his disappointment.
