While working at Strickland Propane with Hank instead of going to acting camp for the summer, Bobby starts a sketch comedy troupe centered on propane-based humor, but ends up offending a high-ranking propane official with a sketch featuring Joe Jack wearing a diaper.

- It's All About Me: Peggy as usual. When she comes up with the name Propane Maniacs and Bobby upstages her with the name Propaniacs she can be seen giving Bobby a Death Glare and for the rest of the episode insists on calling them by her name.
- Like Father, Unlike Son: When Bobby sees an ad for a Prop Comedy Camp, Hank tells Bobby he can't go because he talked to Mr. Strickland about giving Bobby a summer job at Strickland Propane so that Bobby can get to know how the propane business works. When Bobby goes to the office, at Hank's insistence, the next day, Hank enthusiastically explains the different types of gages used in different situations. When Hank excitedly asks Bobby if he has any questions, Bobby, in a bored tone of voice, asks a rapid succession of questions that shows he wasn't paying attention to anything that Hank was talking about and ends with: "can we take a coffee break? I'm dyin' here!"
