When Wally returns home, he wakes his double up, before noticing a poem he was holding, and takes it. After reading it, he realized it's unfinished and is from yesterday before realizing he traveled back into the past. After a while, he notices his other self covered in blood and bandages, and assumes he's from the future, as his double tells him to get help. He then goes to Pin so he can help, but Pin keeps insisting his time machine doesn't work, after which Wally hides inside Pin's closet, scaring another Wally who falls into the time machine.
The Wally we follow then demonstrates Pin that the machine does work, and travels to the past, where he's hit in the head with a pinecone another Wally unknowingly threw at him. This prompts Wally to get revenge on his double, covering himself with blankets and jam to pretend he's dying. After working out his gig, Wally returns to bed to sleep it off, where his double is also sleeping, preparing for the tough day ahead.
