Olga and Rosa bake pancakes for Maslenitsa holiday. Olga teaches Rosa how to flip pancakes, but Rosa drops hers on the stove. Meanwhile, the rest of the KikoRiki make scarecrow for the holiday. When they finish their work, they go for pancakes; only Wally stayed, posing for a stuffed animal. He examines the resulting scarecrow and decides to fix its eye, for which he makes a homemade pyramid and climbs on top. Suddenly, it falls apart and he falls inside the scarecrow. Wally barely returns the scarecrow to its place, but does not have time to get out before the arrival of friends. Olga and Rosa are handing out pancakes to their friends. Rosa notices Wally's absence, but Krash decides to leave him pieces of pancakes. He is more interested in what to do with the stuffed animal. Carlin says that, according to tradition, the effigy should be burned to the ground.
The scarecrow is covered with straw, and Barry is already holding a torch to it. Wally imagines himself climbing out of the scarecrow and blowing out the torch. His friends are angry that he ruined the harvest. Wally is preparing to die, but suddenly it starts raining, which extinguishes the torch. Wally sighs with relief, but then Krash decides to blow up the scarecrow with firecrackers.
Wally prepares to die and writes a will, but suddenly a gust of wind blows up, which destroys the effigy, revealing Wally to everyone. Wally makes excuses that he didn't want to spoil the holiday, but his friends were very scared of him. Olga wants to beat Wally with a rolled pancake, but he hides from her under the table. The firecrackers suddenly explode, and everyone is distracted by the fireworks. While they are distracted, Wally runs away, and Olga chases him. Barry is confused as to what the harvest will be like.
Tropes:
- Imagine Spot: Wally imagines how he gets out of the scarecrow and his friends are angry that he ruined the holiday. Their real reaction turns out to be quite different (With a possible exception of Olga, and even then it was out of worry for Wally, as he was almost burned inside the scarecrow).
