Chiko spends his time doing spring cleaning, and Krash helps him. While Chiko is knocking out the carpet, Krash finds an electric light bulb in Chiko's nightstand. He wants to turn it on, but there is no electricity in Chiko's house, so he decides to visit Pin, since he is an inventor and definitely has electricity.Pin is seen testing his new invention – the Perpetual Motion machine. When he sees the light bulb, he brings a wind generator from his hangar. The blades of the wind turbine do not spin due to the lack of wind.
Krash and Chiko decide to find some wind by digging a huge tunnel to the other side of the Earth, but Olga interrupts them. Pin suggests finding a new nighttime energy source. Chiko remembers that he can't sleep at night due to the loud snoring of his neighbor, Barry. Pin decides that this snoring would make a perfect energy source.
The four go to Barry's house and roll the wind generator into the bear's garden. Thanks to Barry's snoring, the light bulb starts working almost immediately.
Tropes:
- Brick Joke: In the middle of the episode, Perpetual Motion machine starts eating Pin's fence and the penguin goes to stop it. The ending shows that said machine is still working, burning down the carpet that Chiko was cleaning up at the beginning of the episode.
- Digging to China: Krash and Chiko attempt to do this in order to get some wind back to their island. Olga is quick to stop them from this silly idea.
- Heli-Critter: When Krash tries to spin the wind generator's blades manually. Pin drips some oil on the mechanism and the blades begin to spin together with Krash twisting his ears. He then takes off in the air and lands on Chiko.
- The Spiny — As the result of aforementioned Heli-Critter, Krash falls right on Chico's prickly back.
- Shout-Out: The main melody of the episode is heavily based on the song "O du lieber Augustin", which plays throughout almost the entire episode.
- Weather Manipulation: Played for Laughs. When Olga yells at Krash and Chiko to stop Digging to China, it starts raining (and stops almost immediately) to emphasize how serious she is. This surprised Olga herself, and Chiko asks if she can bring some wind the same way. Olga isn't sure, but decides to try, though her attempt ends up being unsuccessful.
