Wally is about to write poetry. He takes his desk and chair outside, puts them under a tree, and tries to find the right place for inspiration. Finally, gets an inspiration and starts to write, but is suddenly knocked down by Krash and Chiko's soccer ball. Wally is angry, since his muse is now gone. Krash and Chiko try to recreate the same conditions for him, but it doesn't help. They decide to look for inspiration elsewhere. But the closet is too cramped, the tree is too high, the well is too damp, and the beach is too hot.
Barry finds the three on the swings and wonders what happened. After learning about Wally's problem, he plays the accordion to get the inspiration back, with Krash and Chiko dancing along. That doesn't work either. Completely desperate, Wally runs to the sea and jumps off a cliff into the water. Fortunately, the cliff is too small, and the water is knee-deep below. Standing in the water, Wally finally composes a verse. Realizing that the inspiration has returned to him, Wally becomes happy again.
