Other dub names: Berry the Honey-Bear! (Studio 100)

An ambulance rushes to Barry's house. Barry ate too much honey again and his friends are giving him the first aid. Carlin decides to lock the barrels of honey in the barn, but when he leaves, Barry breaks down the door and overeats again.

Olga decides to isolate Barry himself from the honey and locks him in his own house for quarantine. After a while, Wally comes to visit. Barry tells him that he has almost finished digging and will make an escape that night.

In the evening, when Chiko was put as an overseer, but is sleeping, Barry escapes through the tunnel. He takes a barrel of honey from the barn and runs away with Wally. He wants to flee to a distant country, where they can live freely. Barry swallows some honey from the barrel, and starts feels sick again. Wally is left with no option, but to call for help.

Tropes:

  • Anti-Alcohol Aesop: While the alcohol itself is substituted by honey, Barry's dependence on it heavily resembles alcoholism and bad consequences of relying on it too much. This was intentional, as the ending of episode's animatic had a disclamer put in as a gag, claiming that no bears were harmed in the animatic's production, and that drinking too much alcohol will damage your image.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: In the Russian version, Barry, when locked down, brings up how the series is supposed to have no violence and threatens to complain to producers, and, towards the end, also brags how he and Wally would supposedly leave the writers penniless if they run away. Then in the ending, Wally takes a notice of the sad music and asks the director to change it into something much happier.
  • G-Rated Drug: Honey is treated like one in this episode, with Barry suffering from an addiction to it that constantly puts him in a bad condition.
  • Help, I'm Stuck!: Barry gets himself stuck inside his own bathroom stall while escaping his house and Wally has to pull him out.
  • Magical Defibrillator: Carlin, Krash and Chiko try to use the defibrillator on Barry the first time they arrive. It doesn't really help to pump Barry out and Carlin just douses him with water.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Sweets of Temptation: Barry becomes addicted to honey as if it were a drug. All three times he tries to eat it, he starts feeling sick and is in need of medical attention from his friends.
  • Surveillance Station Slacker: During the night when Barry escapes, Chiko sleeps on the watchtower instead of guarding the place.
