At Rosa's birthday party, her friends are playing forfeits. Rosa makes a wish that someone who gets next forfeit will go into the forest all alone at night. The forfeit falls out to Chiko; he takes a lamp and a bundle and goes into the forest. He is sitting under a tree, deciding to stay here for a while and come back. Suddenly, a scary-looking butterfly sits on the lamp, and a spider appears very close to his face. Terrified, Chiko runs into the thicket of the forest, where he falls into an abandoned well, just as a severe thunderstorm begins.
Meanwhile, the rest of KikoRiki are worried about Chiko and go looking for him. Their attempts to find him hovewer are fruitless. Chiko tries to get out of the flooding well but constantly breaks down. Finally, he gathers his strength and climbs out. The rain stops, stars appear in the sky, and the night forest opens for Chiko from a completely different side. He quickly finds his way home.
The next day, Chiko tells his friends about what happened to him in the forest, but Krash constantly interrupts him and begins to tell about his adventures himself. Olga asks him not to do that because he was not there. At night, Krash takes a lamp and goes to the forest. Olga sees this and wants to help him, but Chiko stops her, so he could do it himself, all alone.

- 2D Visuals, 3D Effects: When Chiko examines the stars after getting out of the well, 3D graphics are used.
- Bookends: In the finale of the episode, Krash stays in front of the night forest just like Chiko at the beginning.
