Kaeloo, Mr. Cat and Pretty condescendingly tell Stumpy that imaginary friends aren't real, depite having imaginary friends of their own.
"Let's Play Imaginary Friends" contains the following tropes:
- Continuity Nod: The idea of Stumpy having imaginary friends was also seen in season 3.
- Imaginary Friend: Stumpy has an entire collection of these, and Kaeloo, Mr. Cat and Pretty each have a few as well.
- Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot: Stumpy's imaginary friend, Baron Banana, is a cyborganic T-Rex.
- Hypocritical Humor: Kaeloo, Mr. Cat and Pretty tell Stumpy that imaginary friends don't exist even though they have imaginary friends too.
- It's All About Me: Stumpy tries to explain that his imaginary friends make him happy, but Kaeloo wants them gone because she believes that the main four are the only friends Stumpy needs.
- Laser-Guided Karma: After spending the whole episode treating Stumpy like garbage, Kaeloo, Mr. Cat and Pretty get attacked by a cyborganic T-Rex.
- Real After All: Stumpy's imaginary friends are actually real, they're just invisible and all of them except for Baron Banana are inaudible.
- Security Cling: When Kaeloo, Mr. Cat and Pretty are about to get attacked by Baron Banana, Kaeloo and Mr. Cat hug each other.
