Go To

The fairies from "Let's Play Cards" give Stumpy a magical wand. If someone insults him, he can use the wand to make the insult applicable to them.

"Let's Play I'm Rubber Glue" contains the following tropes:

  • Call-Back: The events of "Let's Play Cards" are referenced.
  • Consuming Passion: Mr. Cat turns Kaeloo, his crush, into a giant monster who tries to swallow him whole. Mr. Cat seems rather... "excited" by the prospect and actually allows her to do it. The effects of the wand are temporary, however, so it's likely that he knew that no real harm would rise from her swallowing him.
  • Didn't Think This Through: Kaeloo insults Mr. Cat and berates him for being such an awful person, while he's carrying the wand.
  • Puppy-Dog Eyes: How the good fairy convinces the bad fairy to agree to give Stumpy the wand.
  • Running Gag: People calling Stumpy a "hopeless case".
  • Status Quo Is God:
    • The wand's effects are only temporary, and the victims go back to normal after a few minutes.
    • The fairies realize that Stumpy is doing more harm than good with the wand and take it away from him.
  • Swallowed Whole: After being turned into a giant monster, Kaeloo swallows Mr. Cat whole. He seems to really enjoy it.
  • You Monster!: Kaeloo says Mr. Cat is a "monster" for tormenting innocent people with the wand. Mr. Cat uses the wand on her and turns her into a literal monster.
