Mr. Cat finds out that there is one thing Stumpy is actually good at: art.
"Let's Play Art Class" contains the following tropes:
- A Fool and His New Money Are Soon Parted: When Mr. Cat finds out that Stumpy is a brilliant artist and that he plans to auction his art, he asks him to sign a contract that gives 95% of the profits to Mr. Cat. Subverted in that they never manage to sell any of the art, an therefore never make any money for Mr. Cat to swindle.
- Back from the Dead: Quack Quack makes Stumpy a new head after he blows his old one off with a bazooka.
- Downer Ending: The episode ends with Kaeloo ruining Stumpy's art skills by teaching him how to paint exactly like her.
- Duct Tape for Everything: Upon witnessing Mr. Cat's apathy to Stumpy's death, Kaeloo is infuriated. Mr. Cat tries to calm her down by promising to bring Stumpy back to life by duct-taping his head back on.
- Genius Ditz / Hidden Depths: Stumpy is very good at art.
- Giftedly Bad: Kaeloo draws like a kindergartener but considers herself to be a really good artist.
- Hypocritical Humor: Kaeloo sees that Stumpy has made a painting without following the "rules of art" which she uses while painting and calls his painting "childish scribbles". Stumpy's painting is actually amazing and Kaeloo's painting looks like it was made by a three-year-old.
- Modesty Towel: Kaeloo does a painting of Quack Quack wearing no clothes except a leaf covering his crotch. Once she's done, Quack Quack wraps a towel around his waist.
- Take That!: This episode is dedicated to making fun of modern art. Highlights include Mr. Cat explaining that you can put any mundane object on a pedestal and call it art, and Stumpy sitting on a toilet, taking a shit and calling it "performance art".
- Too Dumb to Live: Literally. Stumpy blows his own head off with a bazooka.
- True Art Is Angsty: In universe, Mr. Cat explains this to Stumpy, who wants to become an artist. Stumpy decides to blow his own head off with a bazooka to feel pain.
