  • Facial Scruff: Darius and Brooklynn take jabs at Kenji's facial hair, which he shaves off this episode.
  • Hope Spot: After the kids demonstrate what communicating with dinosaurs can do, Mr. Kon seemingly decides this can have useful application beneficial to the dinosaurs and to the business. But if his making Mae work with Kash is any indication, said-application is not going to be on the dinosaurs' terms.
  • I Did What I Had to Do: How Kash tries to justify his actions (such as his attempted murder of Mae) to Mr. Kon.
  • Mundane Luxury: The kids are in awe of shaving, hair dye, and being able to sleep on beds for once.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Well, he's not a hero, but when Big Eatie seems a bit agitated Mr. Kon has the BRAD start firing at her, which only agitates her when she's right next to his son.
  • Prefers Rocks to Pillows: A variation. The kids are fine with the beds being soft, but no longer feel safe sleeping alone and spend the first night piled in the common room together.
  • Properly Paranoid: Mr. Kon blames Mantah Corp's actions on Kash being a rogue agent, but the others aren't so sure. Sure enough, by the end of the episode he's reinstated Kash and is threatening Mae by saying that if she doesn't cooperate he'll hurt the kids.
  • Skewed Priorities: When it seems like Big Eatie is about to kill them, Kenji's worried that if he gets eaten then his father will never respect him.
  • Taught by Experience: After witnessing Mantah Corp's crimes and dealing with a lot of treacherous adults, the campers are immediately suspicious of Kenji's father and start investigating him.
  • Villain Has a Point: During a conversation between him, Brooklyn and Sammy at his cell, Kash lets them know Daniel Kon is the greater of the two evils and is even more treacherous than him. The girls don't believe him, and to their credit, he was playing mind games with them and didn't have a track record for being honorable or trustworthy to begin with. But little did they know that Kash was spot on about Mr. Kon.
  • "Well Done, Son" Guy: On full display with Kenji, who is desperate to earn his father's respect. It makes things a bit more awkward with the rest of the team, who are justifiably suspicious of him.
