Everyone disposes of their trash in a gorge, and it piles up so much that the Jammbonians all work together to clean it up when it starts to affect the environment.
"Operation: Save Jammbo" contains the following tropes:
- Blah, Blah, Blah: How Bello remembers the Queen's speech when she had told him about taking care of the environment earlier.
- Deliberate Monochrome: The first scene in the episode depicts the Jammbonians carelessly throwing their trash into the gorge. The scene is made to look like an old black-and-white movie, complete with film grain and piano music.
- Grammar Nazi: Mina corrects Goomo when he suggests "recycle" is two words.
- Green Aesop: Everyone on Jammbo learns to take better care of their planet by cleaning up all the garbage they let pile up.
- False Camera Effects: The first scene in the episode is made to resemble a black-and-white movie and even has film grain on it.
- Trash of the Titans: The amount of trash everyone lets accumulate becomes large enough winds up making plants wilt and turning the music bubbles into garbage.
- Troubled Fetal Position: The kids walk in on the Queen rocking in this position after having seen the music factory being overrun with trash.
- Two Words: I Can't Count: Goomo suggests a solution to the trash problem - "Two words: 'Re-cycle'". Mina promptly corrects him, pointing out that it's just one word.
