Savannah has agreed to help Tracy learn how to fly fast enough to do a sonic boom as soon as she returns to Tarrytown. But Tracy doesn't want to wait that long, and decides that she's going to try to learn on her own! When she flies out of control and has to be rescued, Tracy realizes there are some things that shouldn't be done without the help of an adult.
