It is spring cleaning and Barkhorn is determined to finally clean Hartmann's room. Wilcke and Sakamoto attend a party for senior officers leaving Barkhorn in charge of the base.

- Heroic Blue Screen of Death: When Sakamoto goes on a "date" with Minna, Perrine becomes a quivering, crying wreck. Later she is found on Sakamoto's bed while hugging a pillow and mumbling to herself.
- Mistaken for an Imposter: When Minna shows up in a gown, Yeager immediately declares she must be a Neuroi in disguise. Minna is not amused.
- Pimped-Out Dress: Minna has a closet full of them.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Hartmann runs away when Barkhorn forces her to clean her room. Unfortunately, Eila predicted she would do that and catches her.
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: Barkhorn, Miyafuji, and Juutilainen exhaust themselves cleaning Hartmann's room and tossing most of her stuff in the trash. Then Hartmann is requested for a photo op and to make sure to bring her Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords. After they find it in the trash, her room is as messy as it was when they started.
- Tyrant Takes the Helm: Subverted. When strict disciplinarian Barkhorn takes over command she...does absolutely nothing and lets the others just do whatever they want. Double subverted when Yeager, Lucchini, and Hartmann don't know what to do with their newfound freedom and end up hating it anyways and vowed to be more responsible. This was Barkhorn's plan all along.
