Recap / Infinity Train: Boiling Point: The Uprising of the Mall Car

Go To

Boscha's given some interesting news, and Zenith Fantasy try to stop Hazel from usurping the Mall Car.

  • All for Nothing: Alrick being the Master of Masters meant that everything Amelia did, and by extension Hazel, was meaningless.
  • Bittersweet Ending: Probably the ending that emphasizes the "bitter" part the most; Hazel succeeds in taking over the Mall Car, has most of Zenith Fantasy captured (Alex and Emily being the exception), and the Golden Guard kidnaps Luz, presumably to use her to get the key to the Portal door.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Two of the Apex kids react this way when Sara is going to get wheeled. For all the bullying that Sara was back in Chloe's world, there is no way she deserved that kind of treatment.
  • Five-Second Foreshadowing: Before his identity is revealed, the Master of Masters has blond hair. Like Alrick did.
  • Godzilla Threshold:
    • One-One invokes Never Shall The Selves Meet in order to send Boscha home, since she and The True Apex merging back together is such a big concern that she needs to leave now.
    • Amelia gives Zenith Fantasy access to the Miraculous, since they need all the help they can get to stop Hazel.
  • Never Shall The Selves Meet: Enforced; the idea of Boscha and The True Apex merging back together is so horrible that One-One arranges for Boscha to leave the Train once she gets her current number down to zero.
  • The Reveal: The Master of Masters is actually Alrick, Amelia's old flame, who was taken by the Train and took the identity of the MoM to lay low. He was the one who released Hazel from her tube so she could have a better life.
  • Wham Shot: The Master of Masters is Alrick Jimmens. You know, the reason Amelia got on the train and was stuck on it for thirty years and indirectly caused the Apex?
