Big Bad Duumvirate: Red, Blue, Green, Orange and Purple make their return from the first Rainbow Friends In Real Life video. Additionally, Yellow and Cyan make their first appearance as additional monsters out to capture Shiloh and the others.
Sudden Sequel Death Syndrome: Ziggzagged. While Zoe doesn't appear in this installment, the other two who evaded capture do, and although Shiloh is able to do so again Judah isn't, being caught once Cyan enters the field.
Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Elijah and Clip despise each other but end up working together to successfully gather ingredients to bake the cake required to lure away Red's watchman, so everyone can escape Odd World.
Token Good Teammate: Trenton, who returned to Oddworld with the end goal of ultimately stopping Red's plans. He ends up working with Shiloh and the others to not just escape Odd World, but also give them valuable information about the park and his past history with Red and the Rainbow Friends.
Too Dumb to Live: Lily ends up personifying this. She acts with such recklessness Shiloh tries to keep her on a leash, and even considers voluntarily giving herself up in pity of not getting taken. It's no surprise then when she's eventually caught.
Two Girls and a Guy: Like the first episode this ends us being the makeup of the three people who aren't caught, with Shiloh, Zakiyah and Elijah being the three.
