Tropes
- Brick Joke: In the previous episode, Mitsuki practiced a kicking maneuver that originated from Tenma Ranger during her offtime. Here it is added to her rollcall pose to drag it out even longer.
- Cerebus Syndrome: Lampshaded with Doctor Z talking about a 'new direction' for the Blatantly Evil etc. Company, starting with laying off all the MotW-class monsters in favor of Dragon-level ones.
- Convenient Replacement Character: Hakase’s brother arrives just as the CIA recruits Akagi for a secret misison.
- Knight of Cerebus: Delu-Knight is a terrifying foe, who fails to understand the heroes’ wacky antics and beats them outright.
- Mythology Gag: When Takuma opens the sensor and explains how many transformations are left before Hakase loses her voice, the Dragon Caesar summoning music from Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger plays. Oh, and the sensors are shaped like candles... just like the candle representing Burai's diminishing life force.
- New Powers as the Plot Demands: Following Akiba Red, Akibas Yellow and Blue ALSO gain the ability to transform in real life in order to assist against Delu-Knight, despite the plot clearly establishing that Nobuo is the most deluded out of the three of them. (And thus the only one that was capable of pulling the feat off.)
- Your Days Are Numbered: Played with. It’s Hiroyo’s acting career that will die at the end of her curse, rather than her.
