Olive is hesitant to fight the four Guardians, so Smokeface grants her a spell that would turn them to stone, she only needs to find them among the costumed crowd.

  • 10-Minute Retirement: With the bottle of healing water with her, Thyme gives up on everyone and leaves for her forest. Then Neppy tells her she and her friends are targeted, and she promptly returns.
  • Ain't Too Proud to Beg: When Olive steals the bottle of healing water. Thyme starts begging because her forest needs it, but the villain doesn't care and breaks it.
  • Bait-and-Switch: Rosemary finds eye candies and calls them gross. Then asks if she can eat some.
  • Batman Gambit: Olive walks around in public until Neppy spots her, banking on him asking the four guardians for help. Then she congratulates him for bringing her targets into an isolated area.
  • Blasting It Out of Their Hands: Olive shoots Sage's terraspehere the moment she reaches for it.
  • Cassandra Truth: When the gang first meet Olive, Sage is very suspicious of her and Rosemary tells her to stop worrying about it. Olive is an assassin out to get them.
  • Cliffhanger: The episode ends with Sage successfully reaching for her terrasphere and deflecting Olive’s spell. However, everyone in Lyngarth except for Rosemary, Sage, Thyme, and Olive have turned to stone.
  • Comedic Sociopathy: Sensing that Sage and Rosemary are about to have a break-up, Amaryllis makes herself comfortable and prepares to enjoy the show, while Snapdragon excuses themselves out.
  • Dramatic Irony: Olive helps her targets navigate through the festival because she doesn't recognize them in costumes, and they don't know her.
  • For the Evulz: Before trying to catch the Guardians, Olive swings Thyme's bottle of healing water in front of her, promising to return it if they submit. When Rosemary objects, she drops it to the ground near the sewage instead of taking it with her just to rub it to Thyme.
  • Hidden Disdain Reveal: Sage spills out that she always hated Rosemary's ideas of fun and gets embarrassed.
  • Innocently Insensitive: Rosemary wants to do one festival activities while Sage has planned others and has said so earlier. Sage non-subtly asks if her dragon highness is enjoying herself and Rosemary says she very much does, which makes Sage snap.
  • Festival Episode: Lyngarth is hosting a festival not much different from All Hallows' Eve and everyone wears a monster costume.
  • Minion with an F in Evil: Olive isn't comfortable with the killing, but it's either their heads or hers. Even when she agrees, she instead takes her time to enjoy the festival. Though she's not worried because she's stronger than any of her targets.
  • Money to Throw Away: Amaryllis is very pleased with a festival game where you have to throw coins at the holes, as she's used to throw actual money.
  • Suspect Is Hatless: Neppy tells Thyme there's a Cat Girl intruder. As was pointed out earlier in the episode, cats are the most common costume motif at the festival, so they only find her when Olive makes herself known.
  • Taken for Granite: Olive is granted a terrasphere that can turn the target to stone. At the end of the episode Sage deflects it, causing it to hit everyone else in town except Amaryllis and Snapdragon.
  • Trauma Button: Thyme panics after crashing into a man in a tree costume, thinking it's another corrupted tree.
  • Unsettling Gender-Reveal: Cal tries to flirt with someone in a mermaid costume, only to feel disgust realizing that's Snapdragon. Amaryllis makes him leave.
  • Your Costume Needs Work: Neppy Cat makes the potion to turn himself humanoid again and manages to go through the festival crowd without raising suspicion. Olive however notices him from the distance with ease as she knows about him.
