Tropes

  • Anti-Climax: By the last chapter, Meg is fired up and ready to face off against two other men that fused with sharks just like her. Turns out they only went on vacation and Sierokarte only told Meg because of the similarities.
  • Butt-Monkey: With six vacations being ruined in a row, you can't help but pity Meg for her misfortune.
  • Cosmic Plaything: For the first five chapters, Meg goes to Auguste with the expectations for a normal vacation only to encounter the respective vacation's incident and holing herself up in response. It's notable in that Meg doesn't want to go in chapters three and four, yet finds herself there after winning tickets to it.
  • Ironic Echo: Early on, Meg gets saved from a playboy by Anila with the latter giving the playboy some harsh words. After Meg's transformation, she copies Anila's words telling Mari's now ex-boyfriend to back off.
  • Seen It All: By the time she completed her makeover, Meg has gotten used to the shenanigans at Auguste and stops being scared of the crew like she was before.
  • Took a Level in Badass: After concluding that she'll never enjoy a vacation while weak, Meg chooses to roid up after her experience with eals.
  • Unlucky Extra: Somehow, Meg finds herself at every prior summer event and ends up getting traumatized each time.
  • Weirdness Magnet: Meg sees the crew as this at first, which is enough for her to hole herself up in her room for her vacation. The fact that she stops seeing the crew as such is a sign of her development.
