Air date 4/11/2024

Alberta hits it off with a poltergeist ghost who’s tethered to a guest that checked into the B&B. Bachelor parties are held for Issac and Nigel.

Tropes:

  • Body and Host: Saul is tethered to Gene and goes wherever he goes. However, he is able to, with great, painful effort, change from one host to another, and chooses Jay so he can be with Alberta. Naturally, this does not sit well with Jay, who describes the situation as being part of a ghost threesome.
  • The Bus Came Back: This is only the second appearance of British soldier Baxter, who hasn't been seen since the first season episode "D&D."
  • Call-Back: Isaac's obsession with dinosaurs from the previous episode continues here. He wants a dinosaur-themed bachelor party and insists on the Jurassic Park theme playing at his wedding.
  • Comically Missing the Point: Thor accepts and thanks Saul for the invitation to come up to the guest's room later to smell some wine, even though the invitation was for Alberta.
  • Continuity Nod: Sasappis recalls his former girlfriend Jessica, the car ghost.
  • Even the Guys Want Him: As the stripper begins his lap dance for Isaac, Thor questions whether he is a peak specimen of a man, then the guy rips his shirt off, revealing a lean, muscular body with six-pack abs. Thor responds "Oh, my god."
  • Innocent Innuendo: Saul uses the term "jerk off" to describe detaching himself from a host. Much like "sucked off", Sam questions why ghosts can't use a more appropriate term.
  • Poltergeist: Saul calls himself one, which means he's tethered to a person rather than a location; in his case, it's a dentist named Gene, who is staying at the mansion.
  • Working with the Ex: Despite being his ex, Nigel seemed more than ok with Jenkins giving him a lap dance.
  • You Can See Me?: Saul's reaction when Sam thinks two people are checking in, not one. Several of the ghosts have a similar response when they realize Saul can see them.
