"You Want Us To Transform!? I Can't Believe This!" (or "What D'You Mean, Transform?") is the first episode of Futari wa Pretty Cure.
Two ordinary schoolgirls named Nagisa and Honoka, who are complete opposites and hardly friends, meet two fairies from the Garden of Light, forming the first generation of Pretty Cure.
Tropes:
- Big Sister Bully: Nagisa trips Ryouta for being annoying.
- Forgotten First Meeting: Nagisa and Honoka's first interaction is passing each other in the hallway without noticing, before they are properly introduced to each other.
- Girls Love Stuffed Animals: There's a decent-sized pile of plushies on Nagisa's bed.
- Locker Mail: Just after the opening credits, several love letters spill out of Nagisa's locker. They're all from girls, much to her chagrin.

- Questioning Title?: The English title for this episode is "What D'You Mean, Transform?".
- Weight Woe: Nagisa wishes her legs were slimmer. The English dub alters this to wishing she had better grades.
