An amazing turnaround of a high-school football team raises Cade's eyebrows and causes him to investigate why the team players all have the same tattoo on their arms. Visiting a tattoo parlour he finds the ink is not as expected. The patron that runs the parlour tries to kill him, and once again Cade is saved by his friend Eddie.

- Hive Mind: The football team is being controlled by a Gua agent in a mind control experiment to make humans work as a unit.
- I'm Your Biggest Fan: Charlene Fay is the team's "Number One Fan". She's also a Gua using pheromones to control them.
- Shot to the Heart: In true Pulp Fiction style, when Cade is injected with a lethal amount of the mind control cocktail, Eddie saves him by injecting him in the heart with adrenaline.
