Foster investigates a UFO sighting and gets involved with some local peoples problems. Then the invasion begins and they all take cover together. Is Foster too late to stop it?

- Humans Are Bastards: Despite being besieged by an alien invasion, the group of people trapped together in the basement are torn apart by petty grievances such as adultery and racism, refusing to put these things aside in the face of potential death.

Recycled Script: The plot is basically a combination of various episodes of The Twilight Zone, including "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street" and "The Shelter", with elements of "The Encounter" and "Nothing in the Dark". - Trial Run Crime: The apparent invasion is just a dress rehearsal, allowing the Gua to study how humans would react to the real thing. The humans don't come off well.
