Go To

"The following is a for-profit player-based Comedy. Minecraft, Minecraft PE, and Minecraft Bedrock Edition are all owned by Mojang, Microsoft Corporation, and Markus Persson, please-DIE IN MINECRAFT! although statistically speaking if you've heard of electricity you probably have."

The eleventh episode of the 50 Ways to Die in Minecraft series. This entry is notable as it is the first episode to have extra bonus deaths.

Watch it here.

Ready? Sego!

  • A Day in the Limelight: FeedMe is the most prominent of the recurring players in this video, and is responsible for a few of the deaths.
  • Bait-and-Switch: The mother of them all appears for Death 31. When Construction Guy is building a replica of a rocket ship, several things come that nearly destroy his scaffolding when he tries going down. Stu gathering dirt, who stops to chase a bunny, Ned's flying machine, which he turns around at the last second, and Farmer Brown cutting tall grass… who breaks down the tower because he hates scaffolding. While Construction Guy survives the fall, a Creeper threatens to blow him up… only to roast the rocket he built, incinerating Construction Guy.
  • Catapult to Glory: Death 43, "Attempting to Advance the Field of Public Transportation Beyond The Limits that God Intended".
  • Exact Words: Death 29: When Construction Guy implicitly threatens to break the scaffolding that's FeedMe is standing on (as revenge for when FeedMe did the same earlier), FeedMe warns him if he breaks a single scaffolding block, he'll fill his house with so much TNT, it will cause a server-wide sand storage. Construction Guy complies by not breaking a block… but instead adding to the scaffolding tower, causing FeedMe to be squished by his platform.
  • Gosh Darn It to Heck!: In Death 52, Lil' Timmy says "diaper biscuits" when on a Christian server. He is then buried by a load of comments requesting such a scene to be a death.
  • Homage Shot: The opening can arguably be one to the popular I Do Not Own disclaimer trend started by Dragon Ball Z Abridged.note
  • Half the Man He Used to Be: In Death 16, ThatGuyWithTheElytra sleds down a hill and right into a Mason's workshop and gets cut in half by a stonecutter's saw. The image of him getting sawed in half is shown as a log getting sawed in half by the Riverwood Saw Mill from Skyrim.
  • One-Hit Polykill: In Death 49, a pillager uses a Piercing 255 crossbow to kill eleven construction workers with one shot. When a cat teases the mob for missing it, the pillager reloads and kills the feline.
  • Running Gag:
    • Someone dying via scaffolding.
    • Being shot by a crossbow, usually by a pillager.
  • Self-Deprecation: Death 20 is caused when Jake tries to make something other than a 50 Ways video, causing his view rate to instantly plummet and kill him via poverty.
  • Take That!: Death 15 is one to the infamous incident where Activision fired 800 of their employees despite selling 8 million copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 before its release. Right before the CEO spews pink slips at his employees, his face morphs into the head of Donald Trump as a nod to his memetic "You're Fired!" line in The Apprentice prior to becoming president.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Stu, as usual. In Death 42, while on fire, he somehow thinks it's a good idea to cool off in a pool of lava. Aptly, the death is called "Skipping Brain Day".
  • Visual Pun: When ThatGuyWithTheElytra gets sawed in half, the inside of his head (or his brain) is portrayed by trimmed pictures of Brain from Pinky and the Brain and Brain from Arthur.
    • Breadstick (or Gandledorf as the death message calls him) in Death 51 gets banned from a Christian server for cursing. Not as in swearing, but as in applying Curse of Vanishing to a sword.

Many times it seems like the scaffolding constructionist will die only to have him survive.

How well does it match the trope?
