Tropes:
- Difficulty Levels: Notably, Gilgamesh will graciously ask the Player Character if they've finished the story or not. Picking "no" will have him be easier than if you picked "yes." This also affects the difficulty of Space Ishtar.
- Elite Four: In the "Legend of the Crimson Heroine: HD Remaster" Exhibition Quest, there is one such group consisting of the Skull King (Skeleton King), Demonic Statue of Destruction (Bronze Spriggan), Hell Eyes (Spotter), and Super Demon (Greater Demon) who serve the Dragon King. The Skull King is fought early on, while the other three make up the penultimate wave of the quest with them stating the former is the weakest of them.
- Foreshadowing: Space Ishtar's entire presence, from her UFO to Mysterious Heroine XX admitting she might be familiar with her to even Class Changing to Avenger on her Break Bar, all foreshadows major points in Saber Wars II.
- Sequel Hook: The ending makes it clear that Space Ishtar shall return which ends coming true with Saber Wars II.
- Tempting Fate: Gilgamesh, per Chen Gong's advice, shouts out a challenge three times to see if anyone is able to defeat him in the tournament. Cue Space Ishtar striking him with a lightning bolt, hurting his pride before she suddenly takes over New York and the tournament.
- Unexpected Gameplay Change: The "Legend of the Crimson Heroine: HD Remaster" Exhibition Quest is of all things an Escort Mission. You are made to select Brave Elisabeth Báthory as your Support who's death marks the failure of the quest. You are made to go through multiple wave of enemies that provide Brave Eli with buffs if she kills them and are generally resistant to attacks from everyone but her, ending with a battle against the Dragon King (Primeval Dragon).
