Tropes:

  • Alternate Continuity: Lore-wise, this occurs after the third one as an immediate sequel, but there are two alternate scenarios dependent on the player's progress in the main story.
    • The first one is set in the original Chaldea, Da Vinci acts as the mission control, and Mash is in her original armor.
    • If the player had cleared the Lostbelt 3 prologue, the second scenario plays with all of Chaldea's new members making cameos, Mash wears Ortenaus (but can still use her original kit in gameplay), and the Atlas connection in the story is played up a lot more because of Sion's presence.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy:
    • It's revealed early on that Okita and Mori are brainwashed by the Heroic Spirit Restraint Armors into killing all Nobus. It's not really effective on Mori since he's already Ax-Crazy to begin with but he still can't fully control his body until Nobu blasted him out of it.
    • After getting lost while entering the singularity, Izou gets captured and gets brainwashed into believing he was Demon King Nobunaga's retainer. He also slowly snaps out of it after he's defeated and put into prison.
  • Calling Your Attacks: Li Shuwen invokes this to repay his debt to Kippoushi, who saved his life, while not actually assassinating his master. He loudly proclaims that he will kill the protagonist and describes how he will do it to everyone, giving enough time for Mori to shield the Protagonist when he actually strikes.
  • Censor Box: Played for laughs with Chaldea's trusted source on Mini Nobbus, "Beautiful Famous Genius Artist," who's blatantly Da Vinci but with her eyes covered by a censor box.
  • Clean Food, Poisoned Fork: Nobukatsu kills the male "real deal" Nobunaga by applying poison to his wine cup.
  • Debut Queue: Nobunaga (Avenger) appears as the event's 5* limited Servant, and Mori Nagayoshi joins as a 3* Berserker.
  • Developer's Foresight: If you haven't started the Lostbelt arc, then Da Vinci will still be in her Caster form during her cameo instead of her Rider form.
  • Disc-One Final Boss: Demon King Nobunaga is set up as the final foe due to being the most dangerous and last of the Nobunagas fought, but in reality, she is the biggest threat to the actual Arc Villain in the High Priest of Makuzu.
  • Foreshadowing: The Singularity-creating simulation MacGuffin that kicks off the plot is eerily reminiscent to a similar technology that the Alien God used to test Kirschtaria Wodime's might by having him live out various permutations of the missions from Part 1.
  • Here We Go Again!: After completing Part 2 of the event, which was caused by Okita Alter being left behind in the simulation, Mash runs in shouting about how they left Mori in the simulation and now it's spawned a Singularity with nothing but Berserkers. Demon King Nobunaga decides that everyone had enough adventure and stops the story right there.
  • Know When to Fold Them:
    • Kippoushi calmly surrenders when his ambush failed and he sees he's they're no match against Chaldea in every aspect, opting to join them to prevent more losses.
    • After all the Nobunagas merge into Chaldea's Nobu, Akechi calmly surrenders and joins the Chaldea Clan since his loyalty lies with Nobunaga, no matter which one it is. It's also a part of Demon Nobu's plan of taking down the High Priest of Makuzu.
  • Never Trust a Title: Having 'Final' as part of the subtitle of the event doesn't mean that this is the Grand Finale of the GUDAGUDA mini-series, as noted by a KOHA-Ace strip later on. After all, out of the original Imperial Holy Grail War Servants up until this installment, Caster (Maxwell's Demon) hasn't been playable or fightable...
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Chacha drops her child-like persona for a moment as the final stroke needed to soothe her stepfather, Shibata out of his rampage.
  • Plot Tailored to the Party: The various side quests usually have a designated NPC whose presence nerfs the mission's difficulty, such as Medea turbo-charging the party's NP gauges in a fight where the enemy resists all non-NP damage.
  • Reverse Psychology: Izo initially refuses to join the rescue mission, and is persuaded by Oryou saying he's too weak for it anyway and "the udon lady" would do better.
  • The Unfought:
    • Big Nobbu agrees to join the Chaldea Clan without a fight as thanks for them saving her and the other Mini Nobbus from Makuzu's forces.
    • Real-Deal Nobunaga gets backstabbed to death by Nobukatsu after he sent the Chaldea Clan running due to the latter's hatred of male Nobunagas.
  • Victory by Endurance: Chacha attempts to pull this off, utilizing Fortress of the Sun's magical barrier to keep herself safe and wait until the other warlords have eliminated each other before she comes in to reap the rewards. Unfortunately, the castle's Magical Reactor can only be recharged by Hideyoshi, causing the barrier to eventually come down due to Chacha's indulgence and leaving her open for an attack.
