Houston, we have a problem.
Slimer becomes trapped in the Containment Unit and the Ghostbusters are being picked off one by one by an aggressive dog-like monster called Fenris.
- Call-Back: The Siren and the Banshee returns from "Sonic Youth", now serving under Surtur.
- Continuity Nod:
- Egon mentions entering the Containment Unit before, which happened during the Real Ghostbusters episode "Xmas Marks the Spot".
- Lotan appears again, presumably having survived his ordeal in the previous episode, "Moby Ghost" and the Ghostbusters successfully capturing him to be sent into the Containment Unit.
- Face–Monster Turn: Fenris systematically turns most of the Ghostbusters into his vanguards to aid him in freeing his master and bring about Ragnarok.
- Jerkass Realization: Eduardo understands that Slimer sacrificed himself for him despite how harsh he treated him.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Both Eduardo and Slimer goes through this.
- Eduardo, when his bad treatment pushes Slimer to sacrifice himself.
- Slimer, when he gets mind-controlled by Surtur to attack Eduardo and nearly killing him.
