Know When to Fold 'Em: Leslie tells Rue she's doe overseeing her drug use. When she turns 18, she will be an adult and out of her house and might as well do anything she feels like, including any drugs she wants to use, because Leslie now needs to focus on Gia, who is getting into detention, losing sleep, falling behind in school and clearly traumatized by her older sister's violent behavior. Leslie tells her bluntly that she can't convince Rue to value her own life as long as she doesn't want to, and the focus she gives to Rue is missing when focusing on Gia, so she will focus on the daughter she is most likely to be able to save. If she is unable to save both daughters at the same time, Leslie will not hesitate to see to Gia's own wellbeing.
Not Afraid of You Anymore: Cassie gives this look to Maddy when walking down with Nate in the hallway, telling her that she isn't scared of her wrath anymore and proves herself to be more cunning and ruthless.
