Brush tries convincing a paranoid Pearl to follow his gut instincts and cross a bridge. They eventually do but fell into a ravine, suddenly becoming part of an insane gameshow with equally insane Game Show Host and contestants at the bottom....What?
Tropes Include:
- All Just a Dream: The entire episode turned out to be an elaborate dream of Pearl's since he fainted before he could take a step on the bridge.
- Competition Freak: All the Flight or Fall contestants, barring a reluctant Pearl and Brush, have a serious mean competitive streak going on. This could be explained by the looming threat of falling into the Pit of No Return should they lose but their attitude towards winning says otherwise.Leek: Heh, you're just scared you're gonna lose, losers!Joystick: Keep weeping, noobs!Cologne: YOU SUCK!!!
- Lost Aesop: Pearl learns a valuable lesson in taking risks but before he could implement it in real life, Brush points out a much studier stone bridge next to the previous rickety one. This gets lampshaded when Pearl asks what he's gonna learn from that, Brush replies that he needs glasses to which Pearl just rolls with it.
- Second Episode Introduction: Fight or Fall, introduced a whole slew of wacky characters including sadistic egomaniac of a host Crown, super-competitive Leek, Motor Mouth ditz Baguette, Sore Loser Cologne, level-headed Bowl, exhausted, apathetic Glockenspiel and eager Joystick.
- The Stinger: Leek and Baguette are still falling down the Pit of Doom when a water fountain in the middle of another jungle breaks their fall. Baguette breaks from their rambling conversation over the change in scenery only to go into another rambling conversation unsurprising Leek.
