Great job Cael, you're almost free, no time to rest. You need to get out of here before the orc guards find some help and turn you into dragon soup. Destroy anything and everything in your path.
Taking place directly after the game's Cutscene this level takes place right outside of the Desmuran Ty compound. In this level the mission is too fully escape orc custody and destroy anything in your way. During the level you also get to learn about Dark Wards and how you can only get through it with a Dark Key. At the end in order to complete this level you must save the sprite Adara before the wagon that has her gets away.
This game provides examples of:
- Big Heroic Run: Well flight actually, which is done to save a captured Adara.
- Damsel in Distress: Adara gets captured; shortly after orchestrating Cael's own escape, and calls to Cael for rescue, which leads to their first proper meeting.
- Exposition Fairy: Adara starts to begin filling this roll.
- The Reveal: Adara reveals that the only reason that Cael was able to escape Desmuran Ty was because that she gave him Zeenium.
- Slave Liberation: Adara is revealed to have freed Cael.
- Unobtainium: Zeenium is revealed to have been given to Cael; by Adara, which is what allowed him to escape to begin with.
- Win Your Freedom: Pretty much the whole point of this mission since it's Cael escaping.
