Just the Tropes, ma'am:

  • Bank Robbery: The man and women rob banks together. The difference is that the women are completely innocent and are being forced to rob the banks at gunpoint.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Friday and Gannon arrive at the bank where the final victim, Doris Colbert, is beating up Richard Madden, the bank robber. She beats him to the ground and stops after Friday and Gannon arrive.
  • The Ghost: Mr. Altman is a prime suspect and is often mentioned but is never seen on screen.
  • Heartfelt Apology: Friday and Gannon give a full apology personally to Jana Altman after they confirm that the man is not related to her. They said they personally talked with her parole officer and dropped all charges against her.
  • I Lied: Jana Altman admits that she lied about being in the robbery but starts telling the truth about how she was a victim after being arrested. However, due to the lying, the police don't believe her until much later when the same man starts robbing more banks and other women confirm Jana's story.
  • Innocent Bystander: All of the women were just driving to work when Richard Madden stopped them and forced them to drive to the bank at gunpoint. After which he steals their car and leaves the women without transportation.
  • Mugging the Monster: Doris Colbert is a karate instructor. When Richard Madden kidnaps her and forces her to rob the bank, she fights back, disarms him and pins him to the ground until police arrive. She admits that she was scared during the whole time however.
  • Reformed Criminal: Jana Altman is on parole after helping her husband commit robbery. She has truly reformed, but lies to the police because she thinks she won't be believed.
  • Stronger Than They Look: Doris Colbert teaches karate and is able to knock out Richard Madden, who is twice her size. Richard even comments on how strong she is.
Richard Madden: Imagine a stinking broad wiping up the sidewalk with you. That dame's as strong as an ox.
Friday: Sure, she must weigh at least 120 pounds.
Richard Madden: What is she, a lady wrestler?
Friday: Linebacker for the Cleveland Browns.
  • The Scrooge: Richard Madden offers women a dollar to drive him to where he needs to go. After forcing them to rob a bank, he requests the dollar back. His last victim even mentions how he had all the money to give her and asked for the dollar back.
