The heroes return to the real world, where they are praised for finding Isabel Feathers, but Isabel is not what she seems.
- Accidental Misnaming: The Mayor of Cloverton misnames the Doom Patrol as the Dune Patrol before she is corrected.
- And Another Thing...: At the end of the episode everyone reveals their respective issues, like Jane not being able to return to the Underground, Larry revealing Mr. 104 is still unstable and that Cliff accidentally left the zombified butt free.
- Déjà Vu: Laura is the only person to notice something is wrong whenever Immortus rewinds time thanks to a deja vu.
- Eye Twitch: Isabel's eye starts twitching when she's been told the celebration is not about her.
- It's All About Me: It's clear that Isabel is now using her powers to make everything spin around her.
- Leaning on the Fourth Wall: At the parade, Larry remarks that there's only a small group of people who care about them, referencing how the Doom Patrol are obscure compared to other DC superheroes.
- Time Master: Immortus possessing Isabel can rewind time whenever she lets slip her true nature.
- Vertical Power Play: Dorothy (the shortest member of the cast) is frustrated that Cliff (the largest) is stubbornly refusing any help, even as it's clear that his robot body is losing its functionality. She takes advantage of his inability to climb a staircase and ascends the steps herself so that she's standing just over him, forcing him to acknowledge her.
- Voice of the Legion: Whenever Isabel Feathers uses her Immortus powers, her voice is distorted and has a reverberating effect.
- Witch with a Capital "B": Strangely enough for a television series aimed at adult audiences that has already allowed numerous utterances of "fuck" and "shit", Rita at one point refers to Isabel Feathers as a "witch" in what is clearly a derisive context.
