Bean and Zog's helicopter crashes after colliding with a mountain, and when the two try to make their way to Dreamland on foot, they end up in the same insane asylum Zog spend time in before. In the asylum, they meet up with a reformed Big Jo, while Bean comes to a realization regarding her upcoming fight with Dagmar. Meanwhile, in Dreamland, Mop Girl's forces are preparing for war, while Dagmar is preparing Bad Bean for the role she has to play in Dagmar's ultimate plan.

- Breakfast in Bed: Bad Bean brings her mom breakfast in bed at the start of the episode. However, Dagmar is disappointed that Bad Bean didn't use the opportunity to try to assassinate her.
- Bring My Brown Pants: Zog insists he's not scared of seeing Giggles again, but Giggles notes the vast amount of sand pouring out his backside.
- The Bully: Big Jo admits he used to be one, and thoroughly enjoyed it, but time spent in the asylum and the mandatory fourteen sessions of group therapy a day have convinced him it was wrong. Fun, but wrong.
- Consulting Mister Puppet: Big Jo's replaced Porky with a sock-puppet, though he's aware Sock Porky is not the real thing. For one, it's much more expressive than the real deal.
- Deader than Dead: After Zog points how in Dreamland people rarely stay dead, and considering how Dagmar indeed came back from the death before, Bean realizes she will have to do more than just kill Dagmar; she has to obliterate her very existence.
- Electroconvulsive Therapy Is Torture: The shock treatment given in the asylum is full on Electric Torture, though it ultimately works out well for Bean since it recharges her power.
- Epiphany Therapy: Spoofed. Dr. Mulberry thinks Bean's been unable to kill her mother because of something she's not admitting, and encourages her to have a breakthrough so she can.
- Evil Costume Switch: Bad Bean switches her regular clothes for a more barbaric looking outfit.
- Fell Asleep Driving: Bean and Zog both fall asleep in the flying helicopter, which ultimately results in them crash landing.
- Go, Ye Heroes, Go and Die: In the planning meeting, Mop Girl outlines how they're outmatched by Dagmar and Bad Bean and will die. There's no "but". They're screwed. She admits her tone wasn't right for the speech.
- Heel–Face Turn: His time in the asylum has mellowed out Big Jo. He sincerely apologizes to Bean for his actions in the past... though he's still a jerk to Porky even after they reconcile.
- Implied Death Threat: After Bad Bean dons a Pelts of the Barbarian-style outfit, she remarks that the meaning behind it is that she's a badass, dresses however she wants, and will kill anyone who criticizes her outfit. Dagmar, notoriously fussy about how Bean dresses, chooses not to say anything about it. Well, almost nothing.
- It Only Works Once: Last time, Zog escaped using the skull of Giggles's grandma. Since then, it's been repurposed as a windchime, so they're unable to use it.
- Mathematician's Answer: Merkimer when Elfo asks him if he was referring to himself or his rubber figurine when he said "if you squeeze me I fart."
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Bean frees herself, and the various murderous inmates of Twinkletown Asylum, who make it very clear they're going to continue doing the things that got them locked up to begin with.Giggles: Let the killin' spree commence...
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Following their adventure in Maru, Bean is still not back at full power, hence why she can't free herself and Zog. That is until the asylum workers decide to give her shock treatment, which charges up her powers enough for Bean to help everyone escape.
- Pass the Popcorn: As Bean frees herself and goes wild with the lightning, Chazzzzz flees to the observation room and casually munches on some crackers.
- See You in Hell: Appraising their options, Luci tells everyone else they're going to die and he'll see them in Hell, where he plans on torturing them.
- Self-Made Orphan: Everyone in the Twinkletown Asylum killed their own mothers, except for Zog and Bean (and in Bean's case, not for lack of trying).
- Shoulders of Doom: Dagmar dons a very revealing outfit with ludicrously flared shoulder wings, which Bad Bean comments upon.Bad Bean: Those say "I'm your biggest fantasy and your worst nightmare."
- Talking to Themself: The asylum staff regard Bean muttering to herself openly as a sign of progress.
- Tampering with Food and Drink: Dagmar fully expects Bad Bean poisoned the breakfast she brings her, and is disappointed when it turns out to not be the case. She orders Bean to poison the next breakfast.
- Verbal Backspace: Dagmar calls the crown Bad Bean's meant to wear the "Crown of Pain", only to immediately backspace and dub it the "Crown of Power" instead.
- [Verb] This!: One citizen of Dreamland tells Bad Bean "we don't accept you!" Bad Bean responds with "accept this! and throws a sword at him.
