A gold obsessed stegarbosaur known as Goldtrux has captured Waldo and making him work for him.

- Affably Evil: Even though Goldtrux captures tools to use as slave labor, he is very polite about it.Break-Itt: I think he seems nice!
Smash-Itt: Nice? He kidnapped us and made us work as lookouts in his scary underground lair!
Break-Itt: But he said thank you. D-Structs never said thank you.
Smash-Itt: Hm, you know, that's a good point. - Bling of War: Goldtrux is so obsessed with gold, he forces scraptools and reptools to forge it into new parts for him. By the time we see him his body is made almost entirely of gold accents.
- Chekhov's Gun: When working with glass to use as windows, it accidentally burns Ton-Ton with a beam of magnified light. Revvit later uses this property to defeat Goldtrux.
- Evil Former Friend: Goldtrux used to be friends with Garby until he tried gold and became addicted to it.
- Lava Pit: Goldtrux has one in his lair to melt down gold to work with.
- Loves Only Gold: Goldtrux is obsessed with gold, eating it, collecting it, and using it to augment his body.
- Mecha Expansion Pack: Ty is outfitted with a battle armor giving him all kinds of gadgets such as a bolo launcher, an oil slick, and smoke screens.
- Non-Standard Character Design: Even before all the gold plating, Goldtrux had a slightly different, larger design from your usual Stegarbasaur.
- Running Gag: Break-Itt has a hard time adjusting to the fact that he has a new master, and keeps saying D-Structs' name when he means to say Goldtrux.
- Shout-Out: Goldtrux is a reference to Goldfinger, and he even has his own theme song to match.
- Solar-Powered Magnifying Glass: With Ty trapped in a golden prison, Waldo notes gold melts easily, and so Revvit uses the glass from earlier to build an array of prisms to reflect a beam of sunlight deep into his underground lair to melt the gold.
- Solid Gold Poop: Goldtrux's all gold diet means that the bricks he produces are also solid gold.
- Special Edition Title: The end credits roll over Goldtrux's theme song, over images of flowing molten gold.
- Spike Shooter: Goldtrux is able to fire his spikes like most stegarbasaur, but his are attached to wires and open up into clamps, which allow him to grab things and pull them to him.
