Go To

Baby's incessant questions on where dinosaurs came from and why they were hatched triggers an existential crisis that quickly envelopes Pangea. Desperate to get the dinosaurs working again, the council of elders drum up a church based on worshipping a potato to ease them. But the real trouble starts when Robbie Sinclair refuses to accept "Potatoism".

This episode has examples of

  • Aesop: Two of 'em:
    • First, don't reject or punish people for not sharing your beliefs.
    • Second, don't accept the first easy answer that someone gives you if you're troubled.
  • Comically Missing the Point: When the elders need to consult "The biggest boob in the land" to find a religion that everyone will understand, the name Earl P. Sinclair is called. Rather than being insulted, Earl seems proud that he's number one in something.
Earl: (To Baby) Hear that, son? The biggest.
  • Constantly Curious: Baby's unending questions end up causing the conflict, and he does it again when brought to the elders.
  • Everyone Has Standards: The rest of the Sinclair may have been willing to report Robbie to the "Potato hotline" for rejecting Potatoism and getting him arrested, they are shocked and horrified when they see the punishment is being burned at the stake.
  • Oh, No... Not Again!: When Robbie returns from school with a note saying he was expelled for rejecting the accepted social order, Earl groans, "Again? What is it with you?"
  • Only One Finds It Fun: While the rest of the dinosaurs are troubled and disturbed by these questioning thoughts, Robbie is elated at all the discussion and confusion going around.
