Palmon freaks out at the sight of Digimon under the floor,but they turn out to be refugee Otamamon and Geckomon. Meanwhile Metal Etemon tracks them down.

Meanwhile at the house, the Chosen Children easily defeat the Red Vegiemon. Pinnochimon berates these minions and gets confronted by Agumon who warp-evolves to War Greymon,but all this just gives Pinnochimon another Digimon to manipulate. Gatomon evolves to Angewomon and saves Hikari,then when manipulated War Greymon goes after Sora and Koushiro,their Digimon evolve and manage to destroy Pinnochimon's hammer and surround him. In one more desperate effort,Pinnochimon summons his house to life and runs away.
Back at the restaurant Metal Etemon successfully arrives to get revenge,Leomon successfully warp-evolves to Saber Leomon to take on Metal Etemon. The battle is a stalemate,so Gomamon evolves to Ikkakumon,but Jyou has different intentions. Right as they are about to leave,Mimi further [[HeroicBSOD freezes]] asking about Leomon. Ogremon tries to intervene,but Mimi stops him. Metal Etemon takes the moment to mount an all out death blow,[[SacrificalLion but Leomon takes the blow instead]].Ikkakumon evolves to Zudomon to help the now mortally wounded Leomon defeat Metal Etemon. The first attack does nothing,[[EvilGloating but Metal Etemon's boasting reveals his weakness]],which Zudomon takes advantage of. Soon enough Metal Etemon is severely damaged,he asks what could've one this to which Zudomon replies that his hammer is made of the same thing [[DeusExMachina Chrome Digizoid]].[[LastBreathBullet Saber Leomon gets up and delivers the final blow]],thus defeating Metal Etemon. He then de-evolves and faints,with Mimi rushing over to help.
Cut to the main Chosen Children fighting the Pinnochimon's house,while Pinnochimon runs away. Just then a stray Red Vegiemon asks to come along,[[ShootTheDog to which Pinnochimon quickly kills him off in annoyance]]. When Pinnochimon turns around,he notices Metal Garurumon and tries to command him to help him out,but to no use. Frustrated, Pinnochimon then tries to manipulate Metal Garurumon,but still to no avail,so he asks why? [[KirkSummation Yamato then appears and tells Pinnochimon that no one will obey him because he doesn't care about anyone]]. Enraged,Pinnochimon charges head on,[[GlassCannon only to be fatally blasted at point-blank range]]. [[EvilCannotComprehendGood As he lay dying,he asks the spirit of Jureimon what he was missing,...which was friends]]. The other Chosen Children thank Yamato,but he just heads off again. The forest then disappears,causing the panicked Chosen Children to evacuate.
Back at the restaurant,Leomon regains consciousness for a moment to notice the forest disappearing. Mimi despairs at this,but Leomon assures her that he will be back once he rejuvenates at the Village of Beginnings.[[AntagonistInMourning Ogremon]] wonders what will happen,but Leomon assures that they will meet again and dies. Jyou insists on going to the Village of Beginnings to get some help,to which Ogremon replies that The Dark Masters destroyed the place. This gives the group the resolve to find as much help as they can to defeat the last of the Dark Masters,with Ogremon,Otamamon and Geckomon as part of the group now.
