Three-Letter Day

Lyor and Seth have to deal with a bee-keeper whose bees keep dying. Kendra and Hannah investigate whether a man who was convicted for the murder of a federal agent should get his death sentence vacated.

Provides examples of:

  • Accidental Murder: It turns out the agent had accidentally been killed by the man's son, and he took the blame for it.
  • All for Nothing: Feeling his son had built up a good life, the father refused to go public with the truth about him accidentally killing an agent. Unfortunately, his sacrifice was for naught as Hannah ends up arresting his son for trying to assassinate her when she was getting too close to the truth.
  • Fall Guy: The man on death-row took the fall for his son.
  • Parental Favoritism: The man on death row is sorry, but he can't help his junkie daughter, he's too busy doing time for a murder his son committed.
  • Title Drop: Hannah mentions that it's a three-letter day. Damien doesn't understand what that means.
