- Filler: This episode could take place pretty much any time in the show; the only thing linking it to the rest of the Neziranger arc is Dr. Hinelar revealing his true intentions for them at the very end.
- No-Sell: Lizard Nezire's power is supposed to let him photograph the rangers' faces through their helmets, but it doesn't work.
- Photo-Booth Montage: Seeing one is how Kenta's secret identity gets revealed.
- The Starscream: Dr. Hinelar reveals to his underlings that by using their powers, the Nezirangers are draining Javious' life energy. If he can drag out their feud with the Megarangers, Javious will die and Hinelar can become the ruler of Nezirejia.
