Character Development: Throughout most of season 1, up to the finale, Courtney would have abandoned everyone else, including Barney, Norma, and Pugsley at the first sign of trouble, even impending death. This time, however, she frets about her friends when it appears that Fingers is about to kill them, and teleports in to try to protect them.
Crush Blush: Norma blushes when Badyah gives her handmade bowling shoes.
Foreshadowing: When Fingers meets the group, he refers to Courtney as "our dear Courtney", hinting at Courtney being connected to the angels.
Oh, Crap!: Courtney freaks out when she sees Fingers come out of the elevator shaft.
