Enemy Mine: Pauline helps the employees get away from Zagan, if only because she doesn't want anyone in her theme park to die. She later prevents the statues of people who have been petrified from being broken.
Humanity Is Infectious: Courtney convinces Temeluchus that having a part of himself trapped in Pugsley and spending time with Barney and Norma has caused him to start caring for them, and for other humans, leading to him ending his possession of Pugsley and un-petrifying everyone and leaving to think about who he is now. Courtney even says that caring about humans is contagious.
Non-Protagonist Resolver: Barney and Norma are both turned to stone by Zagan; in the end, Temeluchus sends her away, and Courtney convinces him to stop possessing Pugsley and bring everyone back because he's gotten attached to humans through the part of him that was still trapped in Pugsley.
Uncertain Doom: Pauline's ghost is zapped away by an angel, but it's unclear if she was destroyed or simply teleported somewhere.
Voice Changeling: One of the demons catches Patrick by making their voice sound like Barney's.
Wham Shot: Pauline's ghost is suddenly zapped by what appears to be an angel.
The angel then teleports away with the exact same golden-sparkles-and-geometric-trails effect used when Courtney teleports.
