Supergirl is finally enjoying some good press, only to find herself blamed for a bunch of misdeeds she doesn't know anything about.
Tropes:
- Beam-O-War: Supergirl and Bizarro-Supergirl do this with their opposite powers: heat vision vs. freeze vision, arctic breath vs. flame breath, and finally Super-flare vs. Super-freeze.
- Comically Missing the Point: When Kara's accused of spray-painting "Mr. Chapin Stincks" on the school, she thinks his crack about poor spelling is because "Chapin" should have two P's.
- Commonality Connection: Supergirl and her Bizarro-clone are both bitter about their male cousin being more famous, and become friends over it
- Hammerspace: Batgirl makes use of lots of pretty large gear in the course of the day.
- Heroic BSoD: Supergirl almost gives up (here, and back in Smallville in the past) because everyone condemns her due to Bizarro-Supergirl's actions.
- Hollywood Atlas: Everyone in London dresses Victorian style and has a broad cockney accent. In Moscow, everyone is wearing winter coats and fur caps.
- Lawyer-Friendly Cameo: Among the English folks at London Bridge are Mary, Jane, and Michael.
- Mirror Match: Supergirl vs. Bizarro-Supergirl. Supergirl can only manage a draw against Bizarro-Supergirl, giving Batgirl a chance to capture her.
- Monumental Damage: Bizarro-Supergirl trashes paces like the Great Wall of China, the Taj Mahal and the Pyramids of Egypt.
- Mysterious Past: Just where did Bizarro-Supergirl come from anyway? Kara had no idea her doppelganger existed until most of the way through the episode, despite how Bizarro-Supergirl's acts had gotten her kicked out of her old school before the show even started, and it's never explained.
- Skewed Priorities: Clark's biggest concern about Kara calling him about Bizarro is she's wasting his cellphone minutes.
- Torches and Pitchforks: From London to Cairo, everyone seems to have a vast supply of them to drive Supergirl away.
