While their allies are fighting with the Diamond Rose Knights and Embryo, Ange and Sala travel to the Column of Dawn to free Aura.

  • Anguished Declaration of Love: Rosalie finally professes her love for Chris after busting the latter out of her Ragna-mail.
  • Ax-Crazy: Chris goes completely berserk when Embryo abandons her.
  • The Bad Guy Wins: Embryo manages to kill Jill, whom she hoped to exact revenge on, and makes off with Ange once again.
  • Broken Pedestal: Embryo becomes one to the Diamond Rose Knights after he leaves them to die.
  • Character Death: Tania and Irma are shot down by the DRAGONs when Embryo abandons them and the rest of the Diamond Rose Knights to their fate.
  • Cliffhanger: Jill is fatally wounded and Embryo makes his escape with Ange.
  • Cooldown Hug: Rosalie hugs Chris to snap the latter out of her Unstoppable Rage.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Tanya and Irma are curb-stomped to death by the DRAGONs.
  • Freak Out: Chris goes into a major rampage after Embryo abandons her to the point that she decides to kill any DRAGON in her path.
  • Grand Finale: Part 3 of 4, this involves Chris going back to the side of good thanks to Hilda and Rosalie, Jill going into a final confrontation with Embryo, and Embryo abducting Ange yet again.
  • Heel–Face Turn: Chris returns to the side of good in the second half of the episode.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Ersha unsuccessfully attempts one to buy her allies some time.
  • Hope Spot: Jill freezes Embryo when the latter confronts him. Unfortunately for Jill, Embryo escapes and she is fatally shot.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Jill attempts to do this to Embryo after she corners him. She tells him about how much he loved her, which distracts him long enough for her to blast him with her metallic arm in revenge for killing her comrades. Unfortunately for Jill, Embryo is still alive and he fatally wounds her.
  • Mass "Oh, Crap!": The Diamond Rose Knights when they are left out on the battlefield alone.
  • Mauve Shirt: Tanya and Irma, who were briefly in Arzenal by the beginning of the series and joined the Diamond Rose Knights, are utterly obliterated by the DRAGONs once Embryo abandons them.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Embryo leaving the Diamond Rose Knights out in the battlefield ends up forcing Salia to realize Embryo's true colors and Chris being brought back to the side of good by Hilda.
  • Oh, Crap!:
    • Ersha when the drones are about to destroy her Ragna-mail.
    • The Diamond Rose Knights, especially Chris and Salia, when Embryo reveals his true nature.
    • Jill when she realizes that freezing Embryo didn't work and he's about to kill her.
    • Sala and Tusk when Embryo abducts her.
  • Rebuilt Pedestal: Hilda becomes one to Chris again, especially after Rosalie rescues her.
  • Redemption Equals Death: Ersha attempts to sacrifice herself to make up for her misdeeds. It doesn't work.
  • Sanity Slippage: Chris snaps hard when Embryo abandons her.
  • Say My Name: Rosalie yells Chris's name after grabbing her from the Ragna-mail.
  • "Shaggy Dog" Story: Jill plots to avenge Embryo for killing her comrades in her first Libertas when she finally confronts him, but is killed in the process.
  • So Long, Suckers!: Embryo pulls this on Jill when she freezes his body duplicate and gets mortally wounded by his Ragna-mail.
  • Unstoppable Rage: Chris goes into a major one when Embryo leaves her to die, killing everything in her path.
    Chris: Fine, I'm done trusting people! You're all dead!
  • Unwitting Pawn: The Diamond Rose Knights are nothing more than pawns for Embryo, something that Chris and Salia find out the hard way.
  • Villain: Exit, Stage Left: After killing Jill, Embryo makes his getaway and takes Ange with him.
  • What the Hell, Hero?:
    • Jill calls Salia out for siding with Embryo.
    • Hilda delivers one to Chris when the latter denies ever being friends with her and Rosalie.
  • You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Embryo abandons the Diamond Rose Knights to their fate, though Chris and Salia survive.
