With the kids stuck in the library during the rain, Stacks tells a legend of a ghost who goes after kids who ruin library property.
Tropes:
- Bottle Episode: The episode takes place entirely at the library, due to the rain making it so that the kids can't play at the creek.
- Dwindling Party: One by one the Creek Kids keep disappearing, seemingly taken away by La Llorona. Turns out they were being recruited by the substitute librarian to help clean up.
- Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane: Stacks thinks that La Llorona is the one kidnapping all the kids in the library, but they learn it's just a substitute librarian. However, there's hints that this new librarian is La Llorona.
- Scary Librarian: La Llorona de la Biblioteca is the ghost of a librarian who takes children who disrespect the library.
- Shout-Out: A purple cat wearing a red hat walks out of Junk Lord's pants, looking exactly like Mungo from Heathcliff & the Catillac Cats.
