When bees swarm the Trading Tree's garbage can, Craig assembles the Council of the Creek to deal with it.

Tropes

  • Affectionate Parody: The opening and closing credits parody the format used in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
  • Avengers Assemble: The Timekeeper sounds the alert for the other members of the Council of the Creek to gather.
  • Book Ends: There's a brief, presumably imaginary scene inside a hive where the bees talk at both the start and end of the episode.
  • Did Not Think This Through: Bobby's plan is to take the bees so he could befriend them and get their honey. He almost releases them near the daycare, and once he opens the box and sees them, he's frozen with fear.
  • Escort Mission: Craig's plan to deal with the bees is to relocate them to a small meadow away from kid traffic, with plenty of flowers. It almost went off without a hitch, except for Bobby's interference.
  • Explain, Explain... Oh, Crap!: Kelsey thinks it was insensitive of J.P. to bring Craig flowers after being stung by a bee. J.P. argues that flowers are pretty and sometimes bees land on them... then realizes what she meant and throws the flowers away.
  • Full-Body Disguise: Bobby somehow makes a Sewer Queen suit good enough to both fool the other kids and be waterproof.
  • Popculture Pun Episode Title: The title is a pun on the album Operation: Mindcrime.
  • Sequel Hook: The episode ends with Craig telling the others about the kids on the Other Side of the Creek.
  • Shout-Out: Bobby references a show about a honey loving bear named Honey Paw, an obvious Captain Ersatz of Winnie the Pooh.
  • Sweet Tooth: Bobby's obsession with sweets leads to him sabotaging the bee relocation in a misguided attempt to ally himself with the bees for their honey, which he calls "nature's candy".
