When a rainstorm keeps all the kids inside, Craig pictures a musical adventure he could have had at the Creek.
Tropes:
- Company Cameo: During the song "The Creek is Everywhere", one of the real-life photos that flashes by in the background is of Cartoon Network's headquarters in Burbank.
- Double-Meaning Title: The title could refer to the fact that the episode is a musical or the fact that Craig's make-believe Creek adventure involves a quest to find what a key they found is for.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus: During the final number where Craig, Kelsey, and J.P. are running next to live-action backgrounds, one of them is in fact Cartoon Network HQ at night.
- Medium Blending: For the final number, the characters appear in photographic backgrounds.
- Musical Episode: Craig's imagined adventure is a musical.
- Rain, Rain, Go Away: Heavy rain forces all the Creek kids to stay inside and make their own fun.
- Seahorses Are Dragons: In the sewers, the Stump Kids encounter a giant seahorse that squirts water at them (actually a squirt bathtub toy, since Craig is acting out the whole thing in his room).
- Shout-Out: The title references the Stevie Wonder album Songs in the Key of Life.
- Special Edition Title: Instead of the usual ending music, the final song plays over the end credits.
- Suddenly Voiced: Mortimor sings along during Kelsey's solo number.
- Tastes Like Feet: Wren makes Carl lick the key to figure out where it came from. Carl says it tastes like a toilet, which leads Wren to deduce that it came from the sewer.
